Asian Citrus Slow Cooker Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - 1 ½ teaspoons kosher salt
03 - 1 teaspoon pepper
04 - 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
05 - 1 juice of Sunkist navel orange (about 1/2 cup)
06 - 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
07 - 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
08 - 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
09 - 1 tablespoon sesame oil
10 - 2 teaspoons Chinese five spice powder

# Instructions:

01 - Sprinkle chicken breasts evenly with salt and pepper and place in the bottom of the slow cooker insert.
02 - In a small bowl, whisk together all remaining ingredients (chicken broth through five spice powder) and pour over the chicken breasts.
03 - Cook chicken on Low for 6-8 hours or High for 3-4 hours. Chicken is done when it shreds easily with a fork.
04 - When chicken is done cooking, shred with two forks to serve.
